Book Report Project (Autumn)

Put your name and book title on THIS LIST (you need to log in into your Gmail account to be able to do that)

Read the book and prepare a 5-minute speech including the following information:

Title, Author, Genre (historical fiction, detective story…)

Setting: Describe the setting, make sure you include the specific place and time.

Main Characters: Describe the main characters (2-3 max), be sure to include their relationship to each other and their personalities.

The story: Give a short summary of the book. Make sure to include the problem (the main conflict) and how it is resolved.

My favourite quote/part: Read your favourite quote or part of the book with an explanation of why it’s your favourite

Rating: Rate the book (5 stars) and explain why you gave it this rating.

Difficulty level: Too easy            Just right           Little Difficult            Too hard

Hand in book report printable form on the day of your presentation (it does not have to be fancy, just informative).   You’ll get it back. You get your grade for the speech, not for the printed sheet.

Project JOBS (Spring)

Hand in an A4 page (single-paged or double-paged) where you introduce a job and a specific person who does this job. 
Introduce the person in 30 words. Your project should be based on an interview with a person who does the job.
Include the following:
  1. Work environment (office, homeoffice, outdoors...)
  2. Hours
  3. Co-workers (team, relationships)
  4. Tasks
  5. Required abilities (education, qualifications, character)
  6. Salary, benefits
